Public Notice for Comment from the Braxton County Health Department

At a meeting held on December 4, 2025, the Braxton County Board of Health voted to adopt a proposed rule, entitled “Braxton County Health Department Fees for Permits & Services”.  The proposed rule establishes fees for environmental permits and services.  The Braxton County Health Department is seeking approval of this newly proposed rule by the Appointing Authorities of the Board of Health.  Citizens wishing to obtain a copy of the proposed rule can do so by contacting the Braxton County Health Department at 617 Old Turnpike Road, Sutton, WV  26601, 304-765-2851.  The full content of the proposed rule is also available at www.bchdwv.org under the Home tab, "Proposed Fees for Permit...".  It is also available for review at the Braxton County Health Department from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. 

Comments must be received in writing to be considered by the Braxton County Board of Health.
